Product Description

ARA-290 — 10 mg

ARA-290, also known as Cibinetide, is an 11-amino-acid synthetic peptide derived from the tissue-protective region of erythropoietin (EPO). It was developed to selectively activate the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR), a signaling pathway involved in cellular protection, inflammatory regulation, tissue repair, and recovery following injury.

Unlike erythropoietin itself, ARA-290 was specifically engineered to retain tissue-protective signaling without stimulating red blood cell production.

ARA-290 has attracted particular research interest for its potential role in peripheral nerve protection and regeneration, small-fiber nerve health, neuropathic signaling, and inflammatory tissue injury.

Human clinical studies involving subjects with small-fiber neuropathy associated with sarcoidosis and type 2 diabetes have investigated ARA-290 for changes in neuropathic symptoms and nerve-fiber structure. Studies have reported improvements in several measures of neuropathic symptoms and evidence consistent with increased corneal small-nerve-fiber density, making ARA-290 an especially interesting compound in regenerative and neurological research.
